I believe kindness is the most important of all virtues.  I've noticed that the kindest people are usually the happiest.

People often ask why I chose stained glass as a medium.  When I was four or five I found crushed glass from a broken reflector.   The brilliant warm colors created a deep and lasting impression.  Often when I see the reflection of red or amber reflectors glistening in the sunlight it reminds him of that day.

No, these photos aren't of me.  These are of three of my precious grand children, recreating that moment when I was so impressed with the beauty of red and amber glass.

The best day in my live was the day I met Mary.

This is Mary when she was seventeen.  What a doll!

This is Mary in 1970, in San Diego shortly before we married.

I gave Mary a diamond ring three weeks after we met.  We married in the Salt Lake Temple three months later.  We enjoy traveling together.  Usually abroad.  Always in budget hotels.  Sometimes without hot water.  Sometimes without water at all.  We now have five children and sixteen grandchildren.  This photo was taken in France in 2012.
